At Crossroads, we refer to small groups as D-Groups. The “D” in D-Group stands for discipleship. A group of disciples forms personal, thoughtful, caring relationships, and gets to know each other better. They pray for and support each other as and spend time on Scripture together. A D-Group is a great opportunity to connect and grow in faith in a safe space. We offer several options for D-Groups throughout the week as well as a Friday night dinner option.
Women’s Ministry
Women are invited to a variety of opportunities for sharing and fellowship through gatherings for crafts, retreats, social activities, and meals. The Women’s Ministry supports various missions projects through fundraising. Additionally, the women of our church make prayer quilts with a purpose of collecting prayers for the person in need. The quilt is a physical memento of the presence of love and the Holy Spirit. If you have someone in mind for a quilt, please ask about their need. We welcome donations of fabric, batting, thread, and patterns.
Our Women’s D-Group meets on Tuesdays at 10 am at the church.
Men’s Group
We offer opportunities to gather for as a small group for fellowship, encouragement, and growth. Men of the church meet for breakfast on Wednesdays at 6:30 am at Ronnie’s Café, a local restaurant in Lenexa for breakfast and coffee. Pastor Don leads this group.
Our Men’s Bible Study is reading the book of Hosea on Fridays from 5:15-6:15 pm at the church.
Coasters
A group of caring people ages 50+ formed a group to support each other and gather for meals, social activities, road trips, and educational programs. The Coasters also sponsor a young lady in Managua, Nicaragua through the Rainbow Network.
