Small Groups

group-holding-biblesAt Crossroads Church, we refer to small groups as D-Groups. The “D” in D-Group stands for discipleship which means a “boat load of disciples” – disciple-ship! What does a  group of disciples do when they form a group?

In our church, they form personal, thoughtful, caring relationships, get to know each other better, pray for and support each other, and spend time reading, reflecting and sharing Scripture together or simply share a meal or cup of coffee. All are welcome to join.

A D-Group is a perfect opportunity to connect and grow in a safe place. We offer several options for D-Groups throughout the week which include Tuesday mornings at 10 am, Wednesdays at 6 pm, at the men’s breakfast every Wednesday at 6 am, and even a Friday night dinner option. We also offer more specialized topics such as women in the bible and grief. Contact Pastor Don for more details.

One of our members who is a retired minister, Reverend  Joyce Jennings, offers two D groups at the Park Meadows Senior Living Center at 5901 W 107th Street in Overland Park.  They meet on Mondays at 6:45 pm in the Parlor and on Wednesdays at 3:15 in the Park Meadows Memory Care Library. They are working to find space for a third group in Independent Living. These groups are welcome to all who want to join.
