Good Friday, April 6, will be a time of growing darkness (the meaning of Tenebrae) as we gather to remember the day when Christ was crucified. We will gather for a simple meal of soup and bread at 6 pm and move into the Tenebrae
service about 7. The choir is preparing a service of music and
readings during which we will also
celebrate the Lord’s Supper. We

We need at least 10 people to sort food, ages are from 6 to 96. Anyone who can bend, stand for up to 2 hours and lift up to 10 pounds, please consider this.

We will meet at the church at 5:00 pm for sandwiches, and leave at 5:30 to carpool to Harvesters. Our designated time is 6:oo to 8:00.

In June, we will have 4 opportunites to prepare lunches for children, in July we will make blankets for the children of Safehome and we are making plans for August. Come join the fun and serve God by helping others.

A sign-up sheet will be in the narthex.
